Welcome Oldcrow. My oil pull HWM is starting to develop some nice patina and is not suede in appearance.

Mike

If I may, when did you take delivery of your oil pull HWM Mike?

PS. Love the look of your black rimmed bike in your avatar, Sportster?

Thanks Bonneville. I got the HWM for Christmas last year. I wore it a bit last winter and have been using it regularly this fall. My wife didn't know she was feeding my addiction when she got it for me. I did have to do a lot of whining however. I think she is an enabler. Yes, the bike is a Sporster, actually XL1200N Nightster. I really enjoy it. Pretty stiff suspension, but lots of fun. I am used to baggers that ride better from my earlier Harley Davidson life.

Update: dames and gents, the short days and winter weather has conspired against me in providing everyone here with some natural light photos. I guess this will have to do.

Sorry guys, I am still trying to figure out how to upload/post picture in a thread, instead of providing a link. Can anyone explain the procedure?

Dude, that jacket looks great! Nice trim fit for a highwayman.

Scotty explained the picture posting procedure earlier in your post: "To make your pictures visible in a FL post, first make your account public. Once you do that, and youve uploaded pics to your account, youll see thumbnails with an http line and an img line beneath them. Click on the img line, it will say 'copying' for a about a second. Then come back to the FL page you want to place the picture in, and hit ctrl and v at the same time and it will paste the picture right into the post."

The key is that you have to make your account public, so that the site can pull off the pictures from your album.

I tried to put the pics in with IMG tags on them, but they didn't work. Great looking jacket nonetheless!

Very nice indeed, its quality is so evident. The leather certainly doesn't look 'suede like' in the pictures and looks like my recent oil pull sample. Perhaps the oil pull leather that exhibited a 'suede effect' hasn't been part of Aero's stock for sometime now.

Alright Ladies and Gentlemen I promised some natural light pictures. The weather here in Northern California has not permitted such until today, for a brief 10 minutes we had a little bit of sun before the rain started back up. Coincidentally I have had the jacket for about a month and I am finally starting to get some nice graining and relaxing of the jacket.
I must admit that my excitement upon arrival quickly turned to fear. I found the jacket to be quite stiff and much shorter than I am used to wearing. The weight was also something I wasn't used to. After a month of wear though, I am falling in love with it. All of the wonderful qualities of HH leather jackets that I have read about on here are starting to develop. The buttery texture of the hide. The beautiful graining. Just allot of fun to wear when I go out. Thanks again for all of the kind words, Jared out.

Congrats on the wonderful jacket Crow and welcome to the forum. I'm also new here but after stumbling upon the forum and seeing the wealth of information, I think I'm here to stay.

Regards,
PJ

Thanks for posting all these pics, Oldcrow! You look awesom in this jacket. I like the contrast of the lining with the smooth leather very much! Congratulations, you have made an excellent choice. How many people have already asked you about this jacket, when you was wearing it on the streets??
Good luck breaking it in and wear it in good health.

Thanks for the kind words folks. I am glad I was able to provide some more pictures.
The hat - seems as its as much a smash as the jacket eh? It is a swag piece that was from a snowboard company that I used to work for. Now defunct. Same company as the knit cap in the previous batch of pictures I posted.
