New Vintage Straw Fedora

Just had to brag about this one. Scored this beauty today, a "Bonar-Phelps" from New York, "Genuine Panama." In my size (7 1/8) with a 2 3/4" brim, and 4 3/4" crown. Band is a burgundy color, sweatband is leather in great condition. I'm guessing an early-mid 40's piece. Total including tax....$32!

Local antique dealer. I'm still somewhat in shock as I've been looking for one of these for quite a while and was debating on pulling the trigger on one from PanamaBob. It's not everyday I get a $200 savings on an item I HAVE to have
