Missing Family Found Alive After 2 Weeks
Officials said the RV had apparently taken a shortcut, instead of taking a well-traveled route to the coast, and then gotten stranded in up to 4 feet of snow.

Geez, what did the father tell the children if they didn't know how bad a state they were in? "We are just going to stop here and camp for two weeks." "Is it me or does the dog look like a hamburger?" lol

Well in the article it says they still had propane to heat the camper and food..so if you were a kid and parents didn't tell you that you might die...and you wern't cold and you didn't starve....you might not know.

Would people that named their children Sabastyan and Gabrayell and would take a shortcut...the sort of people likely to inform the kids whats up?

I dunno. I would think something was up if we didn't move in a long time. Perhaps it was just my parents but it would not be likely they could keep it from me long. That and getting stuck in the snow might have been a dead giveaway. Then again, I figured out the whole Santa, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy thing faster than most of my friends.
