I'm using an ordinary computer and a university internet service and the FL is noticeably slower and "jumpier" today.
Just reporting in...

Looks like an illustration that might have originally been done for a giveaway road map. Amoco was originally an East Coast-only company based out of Baltimore before it merged with Standard of Indiana in the late forties -- their colors were originally red and green, but after the Standard merger they moved to that company's red-white-blue motif. This pre-dates the adoption of the torch-and-oval sign in Amoco's territory, which happened around 1960. Here's a real-life specimen of the style of station shown.

Amoco was also famous as one of the few companies that refused to use tetraethyl lead -- they used benzine to improve the antiknock qualities of their gasoline, and heavily promoted their fuel as "poison-free." Yeah, until the benzine leaks into your water supply.

Rob, if I’m not mistaken, that looks similar to a ‘50s Willys
jeep which I purchased when the
bug hit me about wanting
a Woody station wagon. But the woodies were very expensive.

I paid $50 for that Willys.
Although the body was in good condition,it was missing
the gas
tank and title.

A makeshift tank comprising of a bucket and a hose
made it possible to drive it home somehow.
