I will call this a victory. Six months ago I purchased a vintage Rand’s with a missing liner. I put a modern Rand’s liner in it but it didn’t feel quite right. Recently I found a Stetson 60’s 3X hat that had a vintage Rand’s liner and I made the swap. The Rand looks good. The Stetson is in good shape as well but it needs a liner .

I came across this nice old Mallory up for auction. I bet it sells cheap! The only problem is the auction house will not ship it. Anyone close to Marshfield, Wisconsin looking for a pre-war black 7 1/4?

I don’t recall seeing many Royal Open Roads. Most have been Royal De Luxe or 3X, etc.

That hat on eBay is a Canadian made Stetson. They have their own set of rules. I’ll be very happy if the hat I posted as as clean as that hat on eBay.

Hey Brent, I think we both must have purchased this hat at the same time on separate sites. I had this hat purchased before I saw your post here and I figured it must have been cross listed and double sold. Anyway, I just got a cancellation from the seller so it should be free to fly your way.

No problem, you can keep it. I’m happy that a lounger got it. Yes, the sweatband looked rough but the rest of the hat looked in good condition so I jumped on it for $20+$7 ship. Hopefully you got a equally good deal.
