Panizza Special Misto fedora in grey. Size 57 with the overwelt brim at 5,5cm and the crown at 10cm at the center dent. Nice shape and what seems to be a mix of fur and wool for the felt. Not as refined, but a nice and sturdy hat. No labels inside the hat unfortunately.

Panizza fedora in a grey colour aclled Grafite. Size 57 with the overwelt brim at 6cm and the crown at 10,5cm at the center dent. Great shape and proportion but again fairly sturdy felt with a rougher hand (ruvido in Italian). The finishing on the hat is excellent with a lovely shark gill bow.

I'm inconsistent here. I'm sorry, because I have a lot of commitments and new hats to show you.

I can definitely say that between late 2025 and 2026, I was lucky enough to find and purchase a small batch of Panizza hats finished with long hair.

This is the latest arrival and fits me perfectly.
This time, the manufacturing instructions don't seem to have been applied; there's only a note on the lining that says: A86 Toppe 2 "It was probably made for the shop."

Panizza is the Italian manufacturer of finished furs hats par excellence, in the sense that the only ones with a consistent presence on the vintage markey are theirs.

This one has a medium-hair felt, with very fine brims and a much more solid crown.

The color is the one you see in thist photo. I hope to find more.
My compliments to you all for your daily parade of hats. They are my delight!

Very cool longhair hat, Daniele. I found that the other hat with a similar ribbon treatment was made by Cervo (A Bantam Gold). Bob Hufford has that one now (if he still does at least).

Albertini fedora in a grey colour called medusa (don't know what to make of that). Size 59 with the overwelt brim at 5cm and the crown at 11cm at the center dent. The fancy ribbon is called fantasia and that tells us the actual maker is Panizza, because it's a designation they used sometimes for their ribbons.
Fairly sturdy felt with a longhair finish. A few nibbles on and under the brim but not very noticeable.
