I am, in a persistent madness, considering a Statesman in a camel/tan colour, shortened by two inches. It would be fantastic in the winter here. If it can go from being 31 inches to 29 inches in length, it'll work. Now that I'm overseas again, I can order another one. That's how it works. Everyone knows that.
On the 'usual' shawl collar jackets, how useful are the patch pockets? I'm thinking that I may not be able to go the 'long coat' look in tan, etc., but I also don't want to get just another jacket with slash pockets. Huh, I like the way that I can think myself out of this
Yeah, this is the thing. I still have a real leaning toward an Aero Hercules in battered tan, just because it would be eminently more useful.
I can imagine a Thedi version of this...in some lighter to mid-weight "vintaged" hide. It would totally rock!
