A big thank you to all who have posted photos of their green hats. The dark moss and sage green hats seem to be an almost identical shade of green.

I've been reading the thread on DaQuino hats and noticed on Etsy that green is offered. I wonder what shade of green this might be. I'm not at the point of buying another hat, so I don't want to write to ask. It would be great, however, if their shade of green approximated sage.

Once again, many thanks for the photos.

A couple of years ago, I picked up a D'Aquino in "Beige." When I got it, it was, to my eye, decidedly green. I still like the hat, and the color combo turned out, but didn't expect the color. Here's photos of it. You might think of asking her for pics of this color - it may suit your desires.

Looks like I still don't know what color I have. Reading through that post, it says it's Tan, not Beige. Best to just ask her for a couple of pics, but it's a nice earthy green, whatever the hell color it's supposed to be.

Actually, I've already written to her. I asked about the green she offers on some of her hats listed on Etsy--asked her to send an image of the green. I also asked about your hat--sent her a photo of it asking what color it was. I'll update this thread with the information she sends me.

Moss green Gannon. Modern Moss green felt.

Modern VS Whippet clone. Moss green winchester felt.

Vtg. JCPenny Marathon. Advertised color is sage green.

Vtg. Stetson Statoliner pine green. Not exactly "sage green," but I thought it would provide a contrasting green shade.

Thanks RJR and Eric for posting photos of your hats. Inspiring! By the way, there seems to be no agreed shade of green that is called sage. If you google sage green, you will find a variety of colors from light to dark.

Eric, I see you're in the Twin Cities. Around 2000, I had the opportunity to live in Red Wing. Wonderful small town.

Thank you all for posting photos of your sage and "sageish" green hats! I haven't heard anything from Luisa from Daquino Hats. No doubt she is busy and perhaps on vacation at this time. I do hope she responds.
