Yesterday was a good day :D

Got my third Thedi(fourth overall) from a real gent here on TFL. it's the exact model and leather I was planing to get from Thedi directly myself so the timing of this was prefect.

The jacket is a MTC-1279720 in Thedis olive goat leather and I'm amazed how nice it feels and wears! a bit thinner than his buffalo/steer hide leather, but it's incredible soft and very premium feeling!

Here are some quick photos of the jacket, and I'll post some fit pics later when I have the time :)

All in all I'm happier than a pig in **** and I've been walking around with a big smile all day haha, and to the gentlemen that sold me this beauty, danke schön mein freund!

Cheers
Great score, I inquired about this leather with Theo once and he said it’s no longer available.

For real? that's a real bummer as I've always loved how it looked ever since I saw @torfjord's amazing jacket way back:(

Hopefully he'll restock it sometime later, because I do think this leather is amazing and the color is something I've not found anywhere else really.

I was wondering who got the twin to my jacket! Now they’re both in Sweden :)

"As for the olive green goatskin, it is no longer available, I have replaced it with the same shade in quality cowhide, which is fantastic."

Got my Thedi this afternoon: it’s a beautiful thing, but quite tight and bunches at the upper-mid back when zipped. It might just need breaking in, or more swimming on my part (and sleeping in it). The leather is great, and stitching is fantastic. It’s begun to relax a bit after an hour of wear, so it’ll probably be fine. The olive cowhide is really striking and the workmanship is a cut above.

Looks great, i'm sure it will break-in some with wear - cowhide does ease over time and should mold well. What is your typical jacket size and what size is on the tag on the inner left panel behind the pocket?

Haha, this depends - in suit sizes, I’m a 40 (but they’re mostly tailored ones, now); in an Aero Highwayman I am a 40 (but could take a 38); in a Maxwell I’m 42 (fits well) and the only Cafe Racer fit that is easily comfortable is a 44 (which is actually too big and I have two size 42s that are [oddly] comfortable and just don't fit if zipped, respectively, unless I am swimming daily and eating no carbs). This is despite the fact that my measurements have not changed that much at all over quite a long time: fits vary between makers and even with the same maker.

I’m an L in this Thedi jacket. Heretically, the best-fitting jacket I have is an SB Klondike - buttoned or unbuttoned, the weight distribution is perfect and there is no neck-weight, etc. The Thedi I will beat into conformity :).
