Pry's Panama Problem

So the brim of my panama is getting kinda floppy. It's getting a bit hard to get it to keep its shape. I guess it goes back to when I got caught in the rain. I didn't think it actually got all that wet.

Is there a solution to this? Also, is it possible I'm totally wrong on the genesis of this particular issue.

EDIT: for an English teacher, I'm pretty sloppy with punctuation.

Panamas can have naturally floppy (wonky) brims. Handwoven straw hats may have imperfections that cause the brims to not set perfectly straight. It's just something that you kind of have to deal with. A good brim reflange should take care of it, though, if you're willing to spend the money and send it out. And I've heard of a DIY method, but I've forgotten the thread.

A lot of good info. I'll be sorting through it for a while though haha.

EDIT: and basically I'm talking about a brim losing it's snappiness. I think the fact that it curls much more now in the back is causing the front to go limp.
