I've considered buying clothes through Rakuten but never tried it. I want to have an easier return, in case the garment doesn't happen to work for me. I'd like to know if there are any Japanese wool clothing brands, that have been mentioned in this thread, which I can obtain from USA-based retailers, if anyone reading this happens to know. Bonus if the clothes are by the brand Adjustable Costume.

I ordered some shirts through the large stores "Vintage Paradise" and some others on several occasions. Only once did the package arrive at my door. The other times a note was left saying "please retrieve items from the post office".
I don't remember if it was simply because I wasn't home, or that it's protocol to have to pick it up. But I think it requires pick up some of the time.
Shipping was very fast from Japan to California, about 3-5 days. The process was easier than I expected, and the post office pickup was stress free. I wouldn't want to try a return though.

I have ordered clothing from several different Japanese companies, both through Raketen and directly from the retailers, without any problems. Packages are always delivered to my office and generally within just a few days (and never with customs/duties).

With a striking item like that I always think you need to be tall to pull it off or you look ridiculous.
