Oh geez! I've been out of touch with Fred for a good while. I'm so sorry he is gone. I loved his intellect and stories like the time he went round and round with Adolf Galland. I'll miss him.

... Fred Christensen was a true American hero. Unfortunately, unlike many of his companions in the 56th Fighter Group, Christensen did not pen an autobiography...

The more I study this particular group of men the more impressed I am by there individual and joint accomplishments. They truly were Zemke's Wolf Pack! Rest in peace, Fred...
