Hello FL folks, I received an email from a friend today indicating an issue with : yellow corrugated stainless steel tubing (CSST) that has been commonly used in residential construction since ~ 15 years ago. This is still avalbie in most areas today. It's not an issue IF it is correctly grounded. However if not correctly grounded, it can lead to an explosion. So it's worth seeing if you have any, and if so, to have it professionally inspected and grounded to avoid an issue.

Here's the details from a Maryland website: https://www.psc.state.md.us/gas/safety-information-corrugated-stainless-steel-tubing-csst/

More details from Wisconsin:
https://www.wisconsinpublicservice.com/safety/csst

It looks like this:

The Maryland site specifically called out the yellow material. However the Wisconsin site suggests that both types (yellow & black) should be inspected and grounded correctly.
