Perhaps I'm just being stupid here, but I can't find a way to search for *two words* or more. If I type "Knox Hatco," I get Knox *or* Hatco. I've tried Knox+Hatco, and Knox AND Hatco -- no luck. Is this a current glitch in the system? Surely it's not that primitive!

You know, I've been wondering the exact same thing. I'm not sure if that search feature exists or not, but it'd sure make searching more convenient if it did.

Try typing in a quotation mark before and after the words you're searching for. For instance, if you want to find out about Cavanagh homburgs, type in the following: "Cavanagh homburg"

It's not the best system, but it's better than getting a nasty *or* message.

I've tried that, but it then does give an OR command -- you get all the posts with "Cavanaugh" OR "homburg," but it doesn't tell you which posts have *both*.

Has anybody yet figured out how to do anything but the most simple search on this site? It's getting infuriating. I mean, just try to find "Dobbs Daily" (as in the model of hat) -- you'll get every instance of Dobbs, and every instance of daily.
