Sheepskin vs Lambswool

Hello everyone. I was wondering if some of you good folks would know about the differences between sheepskin and lambswool. I had read in some threads that aero utilizes lambswool in their b-3s or rafs. I was just curious about the differences in texture, thickness, colors. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Email Aero and ask for samples. I usually get them in an incredible 4-5 days. No better way to see them for yourself, sans having a jacket in hand!

All Aero sheepskin jackets are made from fully grown merino sheep. Mouton or sheepskin from juvenile sheep is probably only used for collar trim etc.

A B3, B6, Irvin etc. need to have a robust and sturdy skin, lambskins would be too small and too fragile.
