I second everyone else's opinion. There is just not enough contrast between the camel and khaki. But the fit of all the pieces is perfect! Well done!

Hi Chaps, recent acquisition, blue grey herringbone, British made, unfortunately there are no labels to ID maker.
Judging by the cut it could be possibly 30s? or early 40s.

Nice one, Michael. I'm wondering if maybe that top button isn't meant to be fastened based on the crease in your first pic. I could see the lapel rolling very nicely right above the button.

This sports coat I picked up vintage, it's from France made in 1977 and i've been wearing it to death this summer because it's perfect for the heat. I've yet to find a tie that doesn't go well with it, but it has a slightly green tint so that's been my favorite color to pair it with so far. Let me know what y'all think!

Great colour coat Tukwila! Is the Gannon the Robert Mitchum Farewell My Lovely -inspired lid? Very sharp!

    Thank you.

Although I love that movie, and Robert Mitchum's hat even more, the initial inspiration for the hat is a smaller scaled, late 50s Royal Stetson.

Well it's a fine-looking hat bud and some great jackets to go with it.

    What a great outfit, Imperialist!
This fits together very well, although I would prefer a bit lighter socks.
Do you have detail photos of the jacket? What does the back look like?

And the knickerbockers are also interesting with the stripes!
Maybe you can post them in the corresponding thread?

Finally got around to wearing new 30s German 3/4 belt sportcoat. Paired with a pre-war Huckel Jota.

Sorry Matt only saw your post now, will try to get onto it!

1932 dated grey "tweedy" flannel sportcoat with peak lapels and patch pockets.

Tailor made by "Greif", Spokane, Washington. Typewritten date 22 November 1932.

Size is a 40 regular. Too short for me alas.

Beautiful jacket Fastuni - combination of the cut and cloth sure makes it a versatile one. Shame about the sizing...

My mom was born the same year as that jacket; the jacket has held up better.
