Nice little documentary. As a fan of the Lonesome Dove mini-series, it's nice to see the real background stories and make comparisons.

I was particularly taken with the line, 'splendid behavior' on the tombstone, as I very vividly remember TLJones uttering it at Deets' burial in the movie.

Don't remember if it's in that video or not, but you probably know that Charles Goodnight is credited with inventing the chuckwagon. I just didn't know that he had been a ranger & was on the party that rescued Cynthia Parker. I've always been fascinated with her story & her son Quannah Parker.
