Why not? Vintage and tatoos mix. I think it's more the appreciation of the clothes that matter.

Speaking of mixing vintage, just tonight I felt funny wearing a cropped 70's looking sweater with my 40s dress, but it's the only one I had that matched. Then I thought, you know.. if people in the 40's could have done it they would have. I'm not going to worry anymore. We all have our individuality, which makes the vintage that much more special.

Zaika, the fringe really suits you... it flatters your face more than it does without it. The lowlights and the purple are pretty cool, so leave them there!

ladies thank you so much for the encouragement. the purple was such a natural decision at the salon...what with the punk music, beer, and awesome hairdresser...*sigh* lol i have WAY too much fun there!

Zaika, I love the purple!! I used to feel like I had to have a natural looking hair color, but then I discovered that a crazy red looked better on me than a natural one, and now I'm nto hung up anymore. Have fun I say!

I wish I could dye my hair. I'm just too lazy to worry about the up-keep. I don't have any grays YET (YET being the key word), so I'll just be lazy until I have to dye my hair.

Is it the one with the pics of the lady and the fake hair. If so, I tried that technique and I think I need ALOT more practice. I can't seem to get it going right. I guess it's claw clips for a while longer. (d@mmit)
Yep, that's the one! Keep trying, and be sure to use hairpins.. I don't remember if she did or not. Have you seen those tortoise plastic pins they sell at Walmart or Sally's? They've got kind of a circle about the size of a penny on top and two prongs. These would be good for that. Stick them in at the top of the roll horizontally from your head, then push flush with your head and push in. Hope that makes sense!

Dodgette you're a doll!! You remind me of Sherilyn Fenn. I like the bow and your eye shadow... very cute!!! If you ever want to get your ribbons to not shred...use a lighter or match on the ends, and it seals right up! Little tip I learned in crafting!
