Been looking through this thread and it's filled me with envy- you are all so gorgeous and you put my horrible face and mediocre hairdos to shame!

A question, I've seen lots of pics of people with what look like a mass of very short curls at the back of their head, as though their hair was very short and curled, but can you really just get this look by rolling the hair round your finger and pinning it, and repeat? Bear in mind my hair comes nbetween my shoulder blades at the longest point.

Frenchy, maybe if you post a few pictures of the looks you like, then the advice is maybe easier, anyway a lot of style can be faked with a lot of bobby pins

NellaBella- You have very classic features and I love your lipstick.
I let my hair dry naturally because I forgot that I was going to my sister's fashion show so this was a very quick hairstyle. Iused my vintage 1930.s pin as a barrett but I am now thinking that the oil from my hair may not be good for bakelite.
