Well, I never had that many. I realised about 2 years ago that I always wore the jackets and trousers of belt back suits as separates; so obviously something was going on in my head to convince me to not wear them as complete outfits.
More memory loss than modesty. I just can't remember how many I've had/sold. I think I currently have 5 belt back suits left. Two of those are on hold, this one and another for sale. On the other the trousers are pretty much shot (horribly yellowed on the thighs), so I'll keep it as an awesome sportscoat. I have 2 other sportscoats, including the British/Australian one. (I have found 2 belted back suits - including the one above - and 2 jackets in London stores.)
Thank you, yes for a suit that I had never tried on or even seen, when it arrived I was blown away with just how great it fitted.
I do own a few suits but this is my first genuine 1940's suit, and they feel so much different when worn compared to my newer suits, one is the heavily padded shoulders, and no back vents, plus slightly taken in at the sides, just feels great to wear.
Purchased off Etsy recently from a top seller.
It took me a while to find one that I liked the look of, plus without to much damage, I got lucky with this one it looks new, no dreaded moth holes or stains and it was even dry cleaned with the sale, which was a bonus as that costs about 30 dollars here.
