Dale - that one is really charming. A simple but evocative pattern.

BobHuff - great haul! Have to agree with Esteban on my favourite.

  2. Here are more details of the 50-cent pile 'o ties. I apologize for some of the lighting issues with my phone. I will point out the more accurate color where needed.

No label with archer. 51" x 4-1/2". The true color is sort of in between.

I love those unlined ones Bob! They're really my thing. Great labels too.

Nice ones, Bob. Love local label ties.

  9. Thanks Bama and Eddie.

They aren't really local to me, but I guess someone donated Grandpa's stash and they were local to him at one point.

Bob, what an outstanding lot. Really a fantastic find. I think I like the Creveling one best, but that Brent really sends me too. There's not a one in the lot I wouldn't happily sport. Congrats again!

  11. Thanks Dale!

Just snagged this wonder on eBay. The listing said 30s, but it looks more like a 20s tie to me. Thoughts?

I'd guess 30s to be accurate, maybe even later.

    Here's some recent finds.
I'm guessing 1930's on the first four ties, and 1940's on the one on the far right.

Sweet finds, MelancholicNostalgic! I really dig the knot planned 40s tie, but the earlier ones are incredible as well.

  19. Nice finds Luftwaffles and MelancholicNosgtalgic! I really like that Stetson.
