Man, op art returns with a fury!

The intent of the design is to be an "8-bit" tie - IE: if a character in an old Nintendo game from the 80s was wearing a tie, it'd be pixellated like that. It's clip-on because tying a knot would result in a rounded edge at the neck, defeating the intent. Works for me.

This one with a horse and his pet dog is particularly interesting.
I like ties from commercial farming endeavors. I found a John Deere one a while back but the condition was just lousy. The guy must have been plowing the back 40 with it on.

I know summer is here but I couldn't help purchase two woven wool ties with unfinished bottoms.
One is tagged Pilgrim and the other was woven by a New Mexican trader.

Bought this a while back at a thrift store. If I remember correctly, there were five Oviatt ties for sale, so I bought this one and phoned Marc Chevalier about the others (which he ended up buying).

The Wembley is late-'40s/early '50s, while the other looks early-to-middle-'50s, based on widths and graphics.
