SurfGent...the underwater is fantastic. Then I saw that Rooster! Excellent! I'll admit I'm a little envious. I've been piling up vintage ties (among other things) for years, and a peacock motif is something that's been on my radar but I haven't come across yet. That one's classic.

Michael that's an impressive haul. The Brooks Bros. is the only one I can't peg, the rest look to be 40s through 70s. At least from the photos.

Surf Gent - Thanks. I rather liked the way today's clothes came together. I've been running a little experiment since last fall with not repeating the same exact set of clothes twice. As you might imagine that has resulted in a few misses. Ha ha. I have learned a bit about clothes in that time though so I count it as well spent. I think the experiment is about over now as the season of few clothes approaches.

dh66 - Yes, there is a lot of texture in that fabric. And I like the pattern too. I don't have many of that type of skinny tie and I think I'll try to ferret out a few more.

Towncraft Cravats. If I recall it's 45" long and 4 1/2" at the widest. Could be silk, but it doesn't say.
