Finally had some sun and time to take a few pics of the Black Bear. It's in pretty incredible condition. The hide is thick, heavy and soft to the touch. The stitching is very neat, and it is in completely original 1963 condition down to the side laces.I can't believe I'm saying this about a Langlitz, but its Luxurious.

That is one incredibly kick ass jacket.

That's how teacore should look like. Not an instant, engineered fake teacore that takes six months to develop fades. This teacore is earned over the lifetime of the jacket. Great find GM82.

This Columbia just came in today. Heavy Steerhide (10.25 lbs) and literally un-worn condition, built in 2012.

Just a touch too large, but with a sweatshirt, it's pretty darned close. I would rather have it a bit large than too small (I've had 3 Langlitz like that). I am in the Queue for a production of a jacket, but that's still ~ 8 months out. As they say "This'll do" - at least for now. I like the details this Columbia was ordered with. Just too bad the first owner did not wear & enjoy it more.

Outstanding X2!!
If anyone ever wanted to know why Langlitz Leathers, just point them to this post.
Two legacy jackets that tell the whole story.
The Cascade horse, you can feel just looking.
The Columbia, you wear it effortlessly, it doesn’t wear you!
Good as it gets JB!!
Great hat too by the way.

This Columbia came in last week. I sized up because I wanted to layer in it but the action back is batwinging/puffing out pretty egregiously. The jacket is a virtually unworn stock 44 from 1998.

Am I delusional to think that I can eliminate the batwinging by breaking it in and softening up the leather so the back falls instead of bunching up at the rear shoulders? Fit feels pretty solid from the front.

Sorry to say but that jacket is never going to fit, it's massive on you.
