    yes its very nice SB did amazing job, took well over a year to get this due to leather delays (deer skin hard to get apparently) then the pandemic hit, and stupid me decided to get extra fit in between while being locked down to many km on my treadmill and not enough cheese burgers and bourbon its just way to big on my based on how this fits I probably need a size 38 or maybe smaller, it does seem to fit larger than the measurements & the deer skin is very nice, soft but tough kind of reminds me of naked cowhide, just wish it fit me

    Will the deerskin show signs of wear like horsehide or will it stay more uniform?

    I think it will stay uniform, no break in required either for deer skin , drapes nicely, perfect leather for this style of jacket in my opinion

    I own a SB Gatsby with the same leather and I can tell you this is one of the most beatiful hides I've come across, soft and supple, yet thick and heavy, and drapes beautifully. Due to the pandemic and the fact I work from home (and the fact I own 10 leathers...) I haven't worn it that much, but it is a dyed-through leather, so no visible wear.

    I am getting a classic cafe racer. It is an uncommen hide, but a lot of high end makers are offering it from time to time. Currently simmons bilt is still offering it.
