And the final piece of clothing from the Kurtz wardrobe is one i'm horrified to have to let go, but i'll just never get around to altering it to fit me just right. Here she is: light grey/blue herrinbone-esue weave with red overcheck from the late 40s/early 50s. Looks to be about size 37 . . .
Measurements:
Jacket:
Chest: ~20.25"
Waist: ~18"
Length: ~30"
Arm: ~24.5"
Shoulders: ~18.75
Waistcoat:
Chest: ~18.5"
Length to tip in front: ~23.5"
Trousers:
Waist: ~15"
Outseam: ~40"
Inseam: ~28", max ~31"
Cuff: ~9.75", ~1.5"
Front, back and side of the jacket. The jacket is a little small for the mannequin, as is obvious. The shoulders are too wide for me.
A shot of me wearing the waistcoat and the trousers. The waistcoat is too big through the chest/waist for me.
And a close-up of the fabric. This is one of the coolest fabrics i've seen.
As always, PM if interested.
