Source for tip sticker pads?

Anyone know where to get tip stickers? You know the little pad that goes on the inside top of a hat with no liner to keep your greasy/sweaty head from touching it? is there a source somewhere to buy them? I have searched but can't find anything. Am I using the wrong terminology?

Tip sticker is correct. The sources I know sell to hatters, so there's a pretty good sized minimum order. I haven't actually seen one in person, so I don't quite know how they're constructed, or what adehsive is used to attach them.

But they should be easy to make, if you can find the fabric you want. Cut it to shape, and fold the edges underneath a piece of felt or some other type of padding and secure them. Then use some double-sided foam tape to adhere it to the top of the crown.

Thanks, Brad. I was afraid that they might only be obtainable in bulk.

If there are any custom hatters or vendors here who might be interested in selling one or two of these to me to use on hat projects, please feel free to contact me by PM (only if this is allowed, of course).

I had considered crafting my own but was especially curious about what type of adhesive to use that would be safe for the hat.

Viper, try calling Stuart at Star Binding in St. Louis. They make/print them there and I know have some for samples to send out to try to sell to hatters. I didn't end up using them for mine but they DID have some.
