Split S G1 questions

I’ve always like the G1 flight jacket. Found a Split S brand for sale on my price range. Can anyone enlighten me as to the quality of their jackets? One thing that worries me is it’s listed as a large, I thought better quality jackets would be sized numerically. I looked on line and there isn’t really much info on this brand.

All I can say is WOW! A family Friend found this Jacket believe it or not in a local thrift store, NO idea what it was doing there, it had no business there. The cuffs were mothed which is simply Baffling seeing as it's Brand new practically! I dont know what it's worth but it's Got to be...

Thanks Blackadder for replying. I found this and one other short forum thread about this brand. They were both older. Was hoping there might be more info by now. This particular jacket isn’t going to break the bank if I buy it. But I would like to make sure it’s a quality product before hand. To me it looks like it may have an issue with the zipper and I’m not sure for a better word about how wrinkled the leather looks. Is it because of the way it’s displayed or how it’s been stored over the years?
