Yours truly got quoted in the paper today. But it's not about me- it's an awesome story about one of the volunteers at the museum I run, a WWII fighter pilot and retired Marine. It's such a great story- guaranteed to brighten your day and make you give thanks for the men and women who went to war and fought for our freedom.

Great story, thanks. I particularly liked the part where he flamed out at altitude, and ". . enlivened his Mayday glide back to Willow Grove with some eight-point rolls." I did a Mayday glide once, but didn't even think about doing any rolls!

He sounds like an interesting guy to be around. We need to cherish the time we have left with these veterans as they are leaving us at an ever increasing rate. You are lucky to be able to spend time with him.
