Saving a Dobbs Twenty

Found this Canadian Dobbs Twenty on Goodwill for $5. When delivered I found it pockmarked with moth bites. The
felt is so thick and luxurious that after a lot of judicious sanding, brushing cleaning and steaming it looks close to new.

haha... I'm not sure , Anthony. From what I read on the Professor's site the carriage logo followed the non-carriage logo in the early 1950's. Embossed was even earlier.... ?

I believe the coach was right around the late 40s ... especially if it is a plain deboss and not gold ... I think the gold coach arrived in the early 50s

I know mine has a plain debossed coach and no cover on the tip ... that is what makes me think it is late 40s

everything on yours looks 50s to me .... pretty sure that liner with tip protector is early 50s

of course Brad could probably pin point an era
