The effort we have to go to in this day and age is maddening (although fun, in a masochistic way)! It seems unfathomable that any old Goomba back in the good old days could simply walk into any department store, and get the works, stylistically correct, without a second thought.

Once again I seem to be resuscitating an ancient thread... BUT...

I am down to my last button-up-the-back boiled front shirt. Can anyone recommend a bespoke shirt maker in the United States, preferably in the Washington DC area, who might be able to make me a few new shirts?

Actually any decent shirt maker should be able to copy your existing shirt.
Secondly Marcella is for Waistcoats and black tie shirts , Plain, stiff front detached collar for white tie , along with proper court shoes, not patent leather oxfords
