I've always favored the RCMP Montana peak. Here is a good example:

Note how deep the indents were.

If you like looking at illustrations of Mounties in action, here is a wonderful collection at the Tweed Museum of Art at the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

Sir Robert Baden-Powell, founder of the Boy Scouts, also favored this bash:

Curiously, the Boy Scouts of America adopted the Montana-peak style of the U. S. Army, not the style of their honored founder.

One further question:
The Montana Peak bash has four indents.
Does the RCMPeak bash have only three indents?
