A recent post by Quigley Brown in the neck tie thread about the Georges Schreiber "Panorama of America" series by Raxon sparked an idea in my upstairs for a tie game. The series celebrates American States, and the website http://nastyoldties.com/gary.html pictures 45 of the presumed 48 ties (remember that Alaska and Hawaii probably aren't included because they were not states yet). I have combined the pictures and numbered each tie, although recognition goes to the website for the pictures. The Game: Identify one tie that you believe represents a State and give a brief explanation as to why you make this connection. The Rules: I figure one tie per person will make things last, but then again we will have overlapping and debates (desired). The Prize: Like Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka says, "You get nothing! . . . Good Day, sir [or madam]." You international members abroad feel free to chime in too! I hope this is fun, although I might have just wasted time?
