Alan-Great work on the Saroni! It must be a little nerve wracking working on such an old hat. On a side note I like the woodworking bench you've displayed your toppers on. I have my grandfather's bench which is pretty rough and a new one I made which will one day be pleasantly used as well.

I couple years ago some old stock was found and it was sold to Lock & Co. in England but I am not sure they have any left.

Pretty rare to see one of these, it's a bone white rather than the traditional grey. Custom made for a stage show I believe.

Great find! Definitely one of a kind. I really like the ribbon and binding color against the white felt. Would it be possible to get a close-up of the liner logo? It looks like G.A. Dunn & Co. but I can't make out anything else. Any idea on the dating?

The seller says the box it was sent in is dated 1959. Im thinking it might be earlier because I thought they had switched over to just Dunn and Co. at that point. I might be mistaken though.

Thank you very kindly! Just the sellers very brief info. This one will actually be shipping from a city only an hour or two away from so it should arrive before the end of the week. I'll post more pictures when it arrives in the next couple days.
