Looking for some help in the Top Hat area. My youngest son and I share a love of hats...I like fedoras, he likes any and all (fedoras, westerns, Top Hats...). As of now, the only Top Hat he has is a very cheap one from a costume shop..However, I think I may have found a gem in an antique store locally. It has a very clean liner from an extremely reputable maker in the area (over 100 years in business..I own five of their fedoras.) It could use some reshaping/blocking...but other than that, appears to be good quality felt. Asking price is $125. Thoughts?

That seems like a lot of $$. What size is he? As I'm sure you know, the smaller sizes are much easier to find, and should be less money. Good for you (both) though, you lucky man!
