I received this older Maisel's Indian Trading Post cuff today... a lightweight piece with nice stamping and a good complement to my old tourist era ring.

Here is an intriguing find. It didn't go too high and I was drawn to the stone. Described as a gorget (a collar once worn as a throat protector) it is quite sizable and heavy (over 4 ounces). Most I have seen from Native origin have some method of attaching a neck thong or chain from holes at the outside corners. This has only a foldover bracket in the back. Not sure yet how or when I might wear it... the turquoise has a certain phallic je ne said quoi.

Yes I believe the bolo is from the pacific NW. It was a gift from my wife along with a bracelet I'll post tomorrow. Now that I think about it the bolo is over 20 years old. Sheesh, time flies.
