Morning coat by Harrods and trousers by Moss Brothers. Probably 1950s or 60s vintage. Coat is black with nice wider peak lapels, nice high armholes, slightly roped shoulders, and a link front button. Trousers are black with a gray stripes going down. Stripes are dot pattern and not solid so it’s a nice change from the uniform stripes we see today. Trousers are very high waisted, single forward pleats, slight fish tail back, suspender buttons and button fly.
Note: this just includes the coat and trousers, and NOT the vest, shirt, tie etc.
Coat: chest (armpit to armpit measured flat): 24, shoulders (shoulder seam to shoulder seam across the back) 19, length (bottom of collar to hem in back) 42, sleeve (shoulder seam to cuff along outside of sleeve) 26.6 Trousers: 32.5 inseam and 20.5 waist (measured flat so double)
