It's warm today so I walked to lunch wearing my dark grey straw. On the way back, I encountered an elderly gentleman wearing a baseball cap.
With the Playboy logo on it.
What's wrong with this picture? I've encountered this scenario a few times before; I almost want to confront these guys and say, "What are doing? If anyone should be wearing the fedora here, it's YOU!" I suppose the next time I'm accused of dressing like an old man I should point out, "What are you talking about -- do you see me wearing a ballcap?"
I'm not prepared to start wearing ballcaps on a regular basis, and certainly won't switch over to them in my "golden years." My father turns 80 next year and the only hats he wears anymore are Greek fisherman's hats. A definite step above the ballcap, if you ask me.
