OK to start its not labeled as HorseHide but you can check with Wested & confirm a few of these were made
NO its not FQHH & dont compare it to Aero or other custom jackets
its a smooth finish leather ,I have seen & felt a Wested jacket in black & its not the same,

all these measurements were taken with jacket flat on floor & buttoned up.
I measured 4 times to check accuracy.
