I keep slowly easing out the 7” crown as my confidence grows with this proper western

How wide is the brim? If it's a real Tom Mix, it ought to be at least 5 inches!

You got it, 5” with the curl. 7” crown but with quite a bit of taper.

  6. Just arrived a 7X NOR. Bathroom lighting isn't so great. Better pics to come when I get it squared away.

  9. Thank you Dale. The brim is 2-3/4 OR size. It's post block tag era & I'll measure the crown tomorrow, but I have another similar hat with the flatter top blocking & they tend to be 5-3/4 open crown. I don't know what that block # would be.

Great looking hat, wear the stink out of it, it looks good on you.

That museum was not on my radar but I will definitely put it on my list now.

Haha. I had a Dalmatian. We would often say she was horse like. LOL

  20. Wearing a 1989 Ritch Rand 8X Tom Horn with Indian beaded hatband, & a virtually NOS David James embroidered Navajo jacket. I didn't pull a boot off to take a pic of my Hopi socks with the dancing katchinas & kokopelli's. (Sorry...couldn't resist)
