Does anybody know where American Hat Company & Bailey's get their western hat bodies made? I know HatCo has felting plant in Longview & Winchester in TN makes bodies but is there another source besides Fepsa in Portugal for western weight hat bodies?
TFCD this morning.
Like your OR styling on the CD, Jack.
Thank you Steve. I have/had 3 CD's with very nice felt that were easy to work. I've had 3 others that take extra effort & continuing effort. I'm debating if I order a black CD while they are available, which I'll get?
I know what you mean Jack. I have five Akubras and I'm happy with them all, but some are more hard work than others in terms of shaping. I'm not sure if it's something to do with whether or not they're "Deluxe", "Heritage" or "Imperial". The Imperials seem the most challenging though.
A Lounger gifted me 5 different rolls of backed belting for hatband material. Just checking this roll for width & tone on tone color match & it looks pretty good.
My dog will be getting a dress collar from part of one roll too.
Looks good Jack. That’ll be one sharp dressed dog
Thanks Joe. She's painted already.
A pretty girl she is!
Resistol Stagecoach this early morn.
Texas Hatters, beaded band by “The Quiet Lady” and a Woolrich wool coat (from a garage sale a couple of weeks ago).
No. 1 Q
Great looking young lady right there HJ.
Where can a person purchase a hatband from the quiet lady ?
I see her at crafts shows (remember those?) around the area here in southern Missouri. This card is a few years old ...
Thanks, I will call that number this morning. I'm in O Fallon , 30 miles west of St Louis. Springfield would be a bit far to go to a craft show. I really like that area and I take a motorcycle trip to Arkansas 2 or 3 times a year. Usually stay in Harrison or Eureka Springs but seldom take 44 from here. I like hwy 160 , 21 or 19 down to 160.
