+2, I think I’ve seen Alan refer to it as whip stitch for the binding, only seen it on a handful of others.

This handsome lad also is sporting a whip stitch brim hat. All good lil’ buckaroos who cared about being in vogue did the whip stitch.

Great ad! Is the full brochure posted somewhere? Don’t believe I’ve seen it yet.

Too bad they never did this as an embroidered liner to accompany the Last Drop liner.

Edward Borein was a fine artist. They used his art more than once.

Thanks Vic! I’m thinking maybe a teens or early 20’s catalog? The lack of oversized/10 gallons has me assuming closer to the turn of the 1900’s.

VS refurbished. Had no sweat, but what is almost assuredly a Stetson size tag. Pretty sure this is a Columbia. I hadn't seen this Stetson catalog before, only retailer listings.

  16. Good job & great hats, both. From the greatest era of Western hats & so rare today.

the 1224 address on the booklet would make the date 1913 or later

    Sadly, it turned out to be a 7 3/8 and not a 7 5/8.
