What are you wearing today??

  1. Today wearing my father's Sportsman sport coat from Richman Brothers (dated 12/47), and a great Panel Cravat given to me by last year's class:

    Feeling a little nautical today.

Nothing vintage, but I think it's classic enough to go here.

Gentleman you all look great. I am headed out on this chilly evening to play some blackjack. Wearing a modern Stetson that was a gift from the Grandchildren for XMAS and my lucky BJ charm. Tan camel hair blazer with pendelton trousers and unnamed recently purchased cognac wingtip boots... Modern Thomas Pink shirt with crazy looking vest by Juanita Genuardi.. A mix breed look.
    Regards.

    Hi hatguy1
Thank you for your kind reply. What I fancy most about the suit is the DB with waistcoat.. Very hard to find that combo..
    Best regards.

Like I said in my intro post, until I get some more cash, I'll unfortunately have to incorporate modern items and go for a more "vintage inspired" look some days, instead of true vintage. This is one of the "vintage inspired" days.

Here's my take on 1920s/1930s workwear. The shirt is from the Levis Vintage Line, which I picked up at a thrift shop for waaaay less than the original price.

Looking sharp. It's good to see the younger generation dressing well, even in work clothing. Keep up the good work.
