Mr. Paladin...I agree with the RP Sungrown recomendation. I like the toros and find them to be a good reasonably priced smoke. Am waiting on 25 to arrive this week.

Last night it was a Quintero toro; 6 x 56 and wonderful! Another good choice if you like the more full-bodied cigars!

rkwilker--I'm not always a fan of the RP blends but that Sun Grown is superb.

Mr. Paladin...I really like the RP Vintage 90 and 92. If you have not tried them I recommend them. Their Vintage Old World Maduro is ok. Not much for the Edge series. Haven't tried the fusions or some of the other low end RP's but have not heard good reviews of them so I certainly could not recommend them.

Last night was a Topper Danli. Not exactly the best constructed cigar but made from short fillers from Camacho's Danli factory---I'll take it. The cap was not exactl7y well constructed but then we cut those off anyway. [huh]
It was a mild cigar for me but there was plenty of flavor for a cigar that costs less than $35 for a box of 25. Topper is sort of impressive for what it is. Heavy leather earth and wood flavors abound.
Don't take my word for it alone. Ron Pearlman gave it an A- on Cigar Cyclopedia.

Yes sir. One of those I have found to be quite heavy is the Joya de Nicaragua Antano. A great heavy tobacco flavor with a strong leather accent. I have to have eaten before enjoying one of those.

The best ISOM cigar and one of the heaviest is the Bolivar. It is my very favorite cigar and I enjoy them frequently when we travel near a Casa del Habanos.

rkwilker, I will try one of those. I don't care for the Edge much either and have not tried the lower end RPs much either

Flor Dominicana Chisilito. Nice size and full body when you just don't have a lot of time.

La Flor Dominica are very good (if a bit pricey) cigars. I love the Double Ligero line.

The last cigar I smoked was a Sancho Panza but I don't wanna talk about that. I smoked an Hoyo de Monterrey the week before. That is now my favorite cigar. It had a wonderful smell and taste, like that of carmalized nuts.

Last night it was a Victor Sinclair Series 55 Corojo.

I like La Flors too but they are a bit expensive for daily consumption (at least for me).

Last night was a Fuente 8-5-8 Maduro. Coupled it with a Blanton's/rocks. Yep...worked just fine.
