That reminds me of a puzzle that archeologists solved by making that beer. They found cups with a sort of screen over the top of them. We know now that it was there to filter out the sediment from the beer as you drank it.

Traminette is a cross between Gewurtztraminer and a grape from the general lake erie region (developed about 50 years ago).
somewhat like Gewurts, but not as "perfumey". A very nice, crisp, unoaked wine.
