Yes and thanks to you, I went through an entire jar of maraschino cherries in about 2 months. Old Fashioned's are GREAT.

Tucked into a bottle of "Baby Grange" AKA Penfolds Bin 389 last night which I got duty free on a trip back home from NZ. 389 is a very, very nice drop, similar to the Grange offerings (matured in the previous Grange vintage barrels) but without the $600 a bottle price tag.

Lovely drop.

Try this:

two ounces scotch
one dash angostora bitters
half ounce Luxardo Maraschino liquer
teaspoon sugar
teaspoon water

Mix the sugar and water together until the sugar disolves. Put this and the other ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake. Strain into a cocktail glass.
That will fix it.
