So using Christmas money and a combination of post Christmas savings I ordered a Stetson Amish fedora from Village Hats in buffalo felt.

I am thinking giving it a brick crease or similar crease when it arrives in a couple of weeks.

A before Christmas splurge and a hat brand I have occasionally been asked to make comparisons to, is an Akubra Campdraft in their Imperial felt. I ordered from Hats Direct in sand/silver belly.

I have not decided what crease this one will get beyond it not being a cattleman's crease as it does not fit my normal attire. I will consider any suggestions and see how she ends up. She should be arriving today or tomorrow.

Don’t have any answers or info but I have one. Mine also has Plymouth Hats embossed on the sweat, Anton on the sticker. Nice quality fedora.

Cool. Once I got mine in hand, the reorder tag revealed it was made by GW Alexander hats. Yours looks like a nice hat.

Yeah … you gotta watch out for the bogus ‘X’ hats. I know I’ll sleep better knowing these are real.

I haven’t bought a ball cap in years. Some venders give them away to us at work…though less now than in years past. I had to buy this cap because it’s a 62cm and it’s a Purdey! I’ve admired Purdey shotguns for a long time but this is likely as close as I’m going to get.
