Today was a Broner Outback wool hat that I've had for probably fifteen years or so. It has logged some real miles and soaked up a lot of sweat with no ill effects. It looked just this weird when I bought it.
I'm not too proud to wear woolies!

Today, like every day since I got it, I'm wearing my "1928 Reunion" by Art Fawcett.

But, beware! I've ordered - get this - a straw BOATER. I'm not sure how I'll look in one or how much I'll wear it (I've been spoiled since getting my hat from Art), but I'll post a picture when it arrives.

Big Man. The brim, just behind your right ear. It seems to be damaged/warped in some way - just at the edge, there. What is the cause of that? Is that where you habitually hold the hat when it's not on your head?

I'm wearing this 1930s Borsalino which was resized for me by Art a long while ago. Their version of the Cav edge. Another stingy-ish brim from the 1930s, at just over 2.25".
