1910s. Has stitching from an earlier unreeded sweatband, and a Stetson supplied Marshall Fields branded reeded replacement from the early '20s.

My heart it happy with family memories, and saddened that our local firefighters were tragically ambushed and taken from us by the vicious violence this past few days, my heart goes out to their families and my community.

Tom, your Wanderer looks good with the wider ribbon.

David, nice photo, hat and Jacket, who wins?

Perry, nice Adam and sweater! From the guy in the red coat?

Rusty, that's right! Your Akubra looks good on you!

Dinerman, that is a great photo! You look sharp!

Here's my back-up fawn Camp Draft. Cool weather makes me appreciate hats even more!
Hey, Rusty did you have your fawn CD's brim trimmed along with the green one?

Back in town from a Holiday and trying out my new hat.

I love my VS Stratoliner inspired sage colored felt fedora. The felt color will require some more work on my part to capture the color with a camera. The sage felt is a fully saturated color. This sage is more grayish green vs. Blue-green for sure. Within the felt I see hints of a warmer brown addition. It is certainly not a sea foam green.

Happy Winter Holidays folks. Wishing you good fortune and happiness over the next few days leading up to the New Year.

I am just getting back from playing at a local coffee house. I participated in an Open Mic. My contribution was Blind Lemon Jefferson's Matchbox Blues and One Dime Blues as well as Light'n Hopkins Baby Please Don't Go. The singer songwriters, folk, country and bluegrass folks were out in force at the open mic.

I took this pic while listening to a new song by a singer-song writer. I did not need my foot to tap to the music as I was working to listen to the song. I believe it needs some more woodshedding. It was a perfect time to attempt to capture a pic of my hat. My VS Wanderer in silverbelly is muted in the dark of the audience seating. Not totally successful, either of us.:eusa_doh:

I am stoked and heading to open a guitar case and work out another arrangement of Light'n Hopkins Mojo Hand.

Best, Eric -
