I have been curious to find out how our neighborhood owls have been faring. I hiked over to the Regional Trail to make a quiet visit. The owls were feeding. The local foxes were out. Deer were all over. The field was a busy place this morning.

My VS Stratoliner inspired fedora (dove felt and charcoal ribbon) was my "field hat."
